New Year's 2024 on Lake Como: events in Lecco, Varenna, Bellano, Dervio and Colico

The new year is about to come, and Lake Como is ready to welcome it with many events along the entire eastern shore.

Lecco

Let's start from the city of Lecco, which presents a rich calendar of initiatives. Various shows and concerts are planned for New Year's Eve. Celebrations will start at 4.00 pm at the Christmas Village (Riva Martiri delle Foibe) with a concert played by some rising bands until 9.00 pm.

In the evening you can dance at the rhythm of music with a DJ set on the floating platform, while you are waiting for the midnight toast.

At 10pm, 11pm and at midnight, an evocative show of dancing fountains will take place in Piazza Cermenati. For lovers of classical music, a concert will be held in Sala Don Ticozzi at 5.30pm on January 1st.

Varenna

In Varenna on December 31st you are all invited to Piazza San Giorgio starting from 11.00 pm to celebrate the arrival of the new year. The "waiting for New Year's Eve" initiative has been successfully proposed for a few years now and to welcome 2024 you will be in the company of the energetic Jam Schock Band Live who will offer you a journey through time with pop dance music from the 80s to the present day, in an iconic show of lights and colours. Bellano

Bellano offers everyone a New Year's Eve dedicated to altruism, to start off on the right foot. At the Palasole you can in fact celebrate with the charity organization Mato Grosso, that contributes to raise funds for a mission in Peru, where for years Ruben and Ketty have been accompanying boys and girls in learning a job: production of alpaca sweaters, stone mosaics and cheap stoves.

On January 2nd at 9.00 pm, at the Palasole, the New Year's concert will be held in the company of the Lake Como Philharmonic Orchestra with the famous Strauss Waltzers. Tickets are on sale at the Bellano infopoint at the price of 5 euros.

Dervio

In the town of Dervio you are welcome in Piazza del Municipio, where at 11.00 pm a party will begin with a DJ set, a midnight countdown with screenings and a toast with sparkling wine and desserts offered by the Pro Loco, obviously after a nice dinner in the town's restaurants which offer special menus, such as trattoria da Alberto, crotto del Cech, Le Vele and Taverna al Castello di Corenno Plinio.

Colico

In Colico on January 4th at 9.00 pm you can participate to the great New Year's Eve concert directed by maestro Luca Russo with a toast at the end. It will take place at the auditorium. You can purchase tickets at the library.
